The Main Street McDonough Program held a Façade Grant Presentation on Friday, August 6, for raising cupcakes located on the McDonough Square at 18 Macon Street.  Those gathered for the presentation include: (L-R) Mayor’s Assistant Leslie Balog; Keayon Baker; Kearen Baker; co-owner Nicole Baker; Mayor Billy Copeland; co-owner Frederica Clay; Vicki Myers; and Main Street Director Linda Schenk.

The Façade Grant Improvement Program is a reimbursement grant offered to businesses and commercial property owners located within the Main Street District. Through this program, applicants may be reimbursed up to 50% of the cost of improved renovations not to exceed a maximum amount of $1000 for an exterior front and $500 for an exterior rear renovation per applicant. Funds are provided by the Main Street McDonough Program, and reimbursements are based on availability of funds.
