Facade Grant Presentation at PJs Café

The Main Street McDonough Program held a Facade Grant Presentation on Wednesday, August 4, for PJs Café located on the McDonough Square at 30 Macon Street. Those gathered for the presentation include: (Front, L-R) Vanessa Merritt; Lisa Bishop; Owner Paul Gaffney; Mayor Billy Copeland; Councilmember Wayne Smith; Vicki Myers; and Mayor’s Assistant Leslie Balog; (Back, L-R) Hailey Everett, Mixx Vinson, and Main Street Director Linda Schenk.

The Façade Grant Improvement Program is a reimbursement grant offered to businesses and commercial property owners located within the Main Street District. Through this program, applicants may be reimbursed up to 50% of the cost of improved renovations not to exceed a maximum amount of $1000 for an exterior front and $500 for an exterior rear renovation per applicant. Funds are provided by the Main Street McDonough Program, and reimbursements are based on availability of funds.
