McDonough has matured to become one of the largest cities in Henry County. It is a city in which to live, work, play and worship. We are proud of our excellent schools, medical facilities and outdoor activities for the entire family. McDonough is also honored to have been designated as a "City of Character" and a "City of Ethics" by the Georgia Municipal Association.
McDonough is home to international, as well as U.S. owned industries, has an outgoing tourism and main street program. We are also honored to be the home of the "Roberto Clemente World Series" which is played mid-July each year at Richard Craig Park.
