Accomplishments while serving as a City Councilmember:
  • Development of the City of McDonough’s first e-Newsletter “McDonough Matters”
  • Creation of a Citizen friendly comprehensive website
  • City’s first formal Budget Ordinance, and Budget Review Process
  • Streetlights along Bridges Road
  • Participation in the implementation of a local youth camp
  • Inventory, recovery, deed transference, and cataloging of developmental floodplain and greenspace in District II
  • Sponsorship of a neighborhood watch program for District II Willow Bend Neighborhood
  • Activation  of entrance lighting for the Overlook Neighborhood
Current Projects:
  • City of McDonough’s Neighborhood Stabilization Plan
  • Redevelopment of Bridges Road
  • Establish A Combined Public Safety Department
  • Development of a County/Cities Greenspace, Parks and Trails Master Plan
  • Launching of McDonough Citizen’s University  “Educating the Citizens on the Workings of City Hall”
  • Creation of A Joint County/City Park In District II
  • Revitalization of the Central Business District
  • Senior Housing
  • Employee Expense Reduction Incentive Program
  • Implementation of Business Economic Development Incentives
