GOVERNOR'S EMERGENCY ORDER, EFFECTIVE APRIL 3, 2020, AND EXPIRING APRIL 13, 2020 - EXPLANATION IS ATTACHED TO THE ORDER

                                               APRIL 5, 2020 PROCLAIMED AS DAY OF PRAYER AND FASTING

  • All water cut-offs are suspended until further notice
  • The $5.00 fee charge for electronic water payments will be credited back to each account
  • All City government buildings remain closed to the public until further notice
  • If your phone call isn’t answered promptly, please leave a message and your call will be returned
  • There will be no cut-offs in the month of April and no late fees will be charged in April for commercial and residential customers.
  • All City parks and restrooms are closed until further notice.

Mosquito Spray Schedule

The City Of McDonough Sprays for Mosquitos year round starting Late May and Ending the week Before Labor Day.

Spraying begins at 8:30PM and will continue until complete.

The Schedule is broken down as follows:
  • Monday- Area West of the Rail Road Tracks
  • Tuesday- Area East of Rail Road Tracks and North of GA Hwy 81
  • Wednesday- Area East of Rail Road Tracks and South of GA Hwy 81

**This schedule will vary pending on weather. Spraying has to be done in the evenings with very little wind and no rain. If the weather is unacceptable the schedule will be pushed back.
