04-04-12 PFC Jonathan F. Davis Fought for Freedom

Twenty year old U.S. Army paramedic PFC Jonathan F. Davis was killed in a fire fight in Afghanistan. His was a native of Spaulding County and, tomorrow, his body will be transported from Hartfield-Jackson Airport to Griffin under the Honor Guard of the Griffin Police Department and Spalding Sheriffs Department. The procession will pass the McDonough exits of I-75 South. The City of McDonough has always been a patriotic community, and I know that you join me in mourning the loss of a hero and praying for his family. The procession (4/5/12) will leave the airport at 10:45am.
