McDonough Awards Water Tower and Water Line Contracts (more info)

Construction on the water lines will commence on May 10, 2010 and will continue for approximately eleven weeks with a scheduled completion date of July 19, 2010. The project area includes the following roads: McGarity Road and Tomlinson Street (construction scheduled May 10 through May 24), Racetrack Road (construction scheduled May 31 through June 14) and Iris Lake Road (construction scheduled June 21 through July 5). Finish work associated with the project will be completed between July 12 and July 19.

City Hall. McDonough was established in 1823 and is the county seat of Henry County. This picturesque city is a center for activities and the arts.

The city is also home of the annual AABC Roberto Clemente World Series for 7 and 8 year olds.
