The McDonough Fire Services proudly protects 18,000 plus citizens living in approximately 8 square miles. McDonough Fire Department delivers Public Safety services to the residents of McDonough through two fire stations, these services include public educations, fire safety inspections, arson investigations, fire suppression, emergency medical first responder, fire fighting and hazardous material response.

Mission Statement:

The mission of the McDonough Fire Department is to protect the lives of the citizens of McDonough, Henry County and their property from the ravages of fire and other emergencies, both natural and man-made, and to provide citizens with emergency medical response service by assisting the Henry County Fire Rescue provider with emergency medical responders.
