The City of McDonough graciously and gladly welcomed a much needed addition to its staff recently. McDonough now has Certified Public Accountant Bonnie Kline taking the financial horns of the City as its Finance Director.
McDonough, having grown so rapidly in recent years, quickly reached a point where the services of an experienced CPA are a necessity not a luxury. Ms. Kline possesses a B.B.A. in Accounting from Georgia State University and has been a Certified Public Accountant since 1987.
She comes to McDonough from Tybee Island, Georgia where she held the position of Finance Director for that City for the past year and a half. Prior to working in Tybee Island, Ms. Kline served as Director of Accounting for the Georgia Department of Community Affairs.
The City of McDonough Finance Director is responsible for systematic financial reporting, utility billing, cash management, annual budgeting, coordinating annual independent audits, accounts payable, and payroll processing. The City’s Finance Director must routinely generate six direct staff reports which provide essential information. |
