GOVERNOR'S EMERGENCY ORDER, EFFECTIVE APRIL 3, 2020, AND EXPIRING APRIL 13, 2020 - EXPLANATION IS ATTACHED TO THE ORDER

                                               APRIL 5, 2020 PROCLAIMED AS DAY OF PRAYER AND FASTING

  • All water cut-offs are suspended until further notice
  • The $5.00 fee charge for electronic water payments will be credited back to each account
  • All City government buildings remain closed to the public until further notice
  • If your phone call isn’t answered promptly, please leave a message and your call will be returned
  • There will be no cut-offs in the month of April and no late fees will be charged in April for commercial and residential customers.
  • All City parks and restrooms are closed until further notice.

The City of McDonough Mayor and Council are elected by the municipal voters to provide the vision, leadership, and policies necessary to meet the needs of the citizens and community. The governing body consists of seven elected officials who serve four year terms and are elected on rotating basis—three/four members two years apart. The power of this governing body is defined within the Charter of the City of McDonough.
