Carla Tuck has worked in municipal government for over 26 years and, in 2007, joined the City of McDonough team as the first Human Resources Director. Her Department is responsible for employee hiring, recruitment, retention, benefits, risk management, and training. Carla graduated from Georgia State University with a degree in Public and Urban Affairs. She became a Certified Human Resource Manager in 2009 and, in 2011, received her Advanced Certification in Human Resources Management. Carla is also a member of Society for Human Resource Management.
The City of McDonough Human Resources Department provides a friendly, open door policy atmosphere and places great value in each employee and his/her contributions to the City. The Department strives to hire, compensate, support, and develop a diverse workforce dedicated to delivering quality services to the community.
