Main Street McDonough Program’s
December Ladies’ Night Out Winner

December’s Ladies’ Night Out (LNO) was a special night of dining and shopping in the warm glow of the many Christmas lights so beautifully illuminating the McDonough Square for the holidays. The December 8 event even had a Santa Claus running around town talking to shoppers.

This popular Main Street McDonough Program event has become a twelve month a year occurrence. Linda Schenk, Main Street Director, reflected that it has been so popular with the ladies and local business owners that it will just keep happening on the second Thursday night of every month. There will be twelve LNO evenings on the Square as well as twelve gift basket winners in 2012.

The December winner’s name was drawn by PJs Café owner Paul Gaffney. PJs is where the gift basket was on display prior to the December LNO. Alexis House of Hampton was the lucky winner of this month’s basket. She had registered at J Rose, Blumen Trio and Maddie’s Place. Ms. House’s daughter said she had been to every LNO, and had not won, and this was her mother’s first time to attend, and she wins. It must be beginner’s luck!

“I want to congratulate our December winner and invite all the ladies to come back to the Square on January 12 for the first Ladies’ Night Out of the new year,” said Director Schenk. “One of our shoppers on that night will be our next gift basket winner.”
