Ribbon Cutting at J’Rose

The Main Street McDonough Program held a ribbon cutting on November 5th for McDonough’s new fashionable boutique, J’Rose, located at 19-B Griffin Street in the Harry Norman Building.

Co-owners are mother and daughter respectively, Rosemary Thornton and Jocelyn Swinnie. “I just love it here,” said Ms. Thornton. “We are so happy to be on the Square. I can’t wait until Christmas to see all the decorations.”

Those attending the ribbon cutting are: (Front, L-R) Beverly Taylor, Henry County Times; Co-owners Jocelyn Swinnie and Rosemary Thornton; Mayor Billy Copeland; Councilmember Wayne Smith; Vicki Myers, Bank of North Georgia; and Main Street Director Linda Schenk. Other friends and family members also participated in this official grand opening ceremony.
