the First Cinema on the Green this Season
Alvin and his chipmunk friends were the stars of Main Street McDonough Program’s first Cinema on the Green in May and drew a large crowd for the evening’s event. There is something so cool and relaxing about watching a movie on a huge outdoor screen while sitting in the middle of the beautiful McDonough Square. Laughter rang out across the Square frequently as children and adults alike found the movie to be entertaining and funny.
Refreshments for the cinema were provided by Party Time serving up, what else for a movie night but popcorn. The next Cinema on the Green will be July 28th starting at 8:00 p.m. Linda Schenk, Main Street Director, encourages everyone to attend the free and always family friendly events held on the Square.
