05-24-10 Sadie Mac’s holds Ribbon Cutting

Another delightful shop has opened on the McDonough Square, this one at 2 Macon Street, Suite H (Clay Plaza). Sadie Mac’s is a lovely boutique filled with unique home décor items, various gift selections, baby gifts, tea and tea accessories, jewelry items, art, birthday and collegiate items, bridal gifts, pet items, and much more. Owner Christy Hayes invites everyone to stop by and get acquainted with her new shop.

The Main Street McDonough Program held a ribbon cutting on May 21st to mark the official grand opening of McDonough’s new boutique. Mayor Billy Copeland, friends of the owner, family members, and Main Street committee members were in attendance as the ceremonial red ribbon was officially cut by the owner. Mayor Copeland welcomed the new business to McDonough and congratulated Ms. Hayes on creating such a lovely shop.

Sadie Mac’s is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10:00 am-5:00 pm. Check out this unique boutique on Facebook. Plans are being formulated to make Sadie Mac’s the hot spot for baby and bridle showers as well as little girls’ tea parties. Wonder were the name Sadie Mac’s came from? It’s the name of the owner’s cat (Sadie) and dog (Mac). For more information call 770-898-0100.
