Main Street Celebrates the Official Opening
Of The Office Group with a Ribbon Cutting
A crowd consisting of friends, local business owners, city officials and staff, fellow McDonough Arts members, and others gathered on May 1st to celebrate the Main Street ribbon cutting marking the official grand opening of a new McDonough business, The Office Group, located at 37 Griffin Street.
The proud owner and proprietor of The Office Group is a very involved and active business woman, now property owner, in McDonough, Jea Gackowski. She is a very familiar face around town because of her ties to Mary Kay, her participation in McDonough Arts, the McDonough Merchants Roundtable, and a current Main Street McDonough Program Board member.
Mrs. Gackowski has opened The Office Group as a service for those seeking trade law training, a Southside office incubator for employee training, conference space complete with internet and copier accessibility, office space with the same amenities all located in beautiful surroundings and just a half block off the Square.
The first client of The Office Group is already in-house. Donna Mullins, owner of Mullins International Solutions, liked what she saw and wasted no time in making her intentions of renting office space known. Mullins’ business provides compliance training for international trade.
Local resident Beth Mince serves as Administrative Assistant to both Gackowski and Mullins, and all three are Licensed Customs Brokers.
With all this preliminary work now complete, it’s time to open the doors as a new and welcomed McDonough business. The Office Group is open Monday-Friday, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. For more information, call 770-626-4800.
