As part of McDonough’s first St. Patty’s Day Crawl, the Main Street McDonough Program sponsored the grand prize—a 3-day weekend trip to Dahlonega with all accommodations included.

The winner of this weekend get-a-way is McDonough resident Judy Bailey. Mrs. Bailey stated that she and her husband, C. H. “Beetle” Bailey, have spent some time in Dahlonega and love that town. “I am very excited. We have rambled around the town of Dahlonega and always love spending time there,” the winner said. “Dahlonega is a great town.”

“I’m so glad someone won the trip who loves to spend time in that unique and beautiful town,” stated Director Schenk. “I have always enjoyed visiting Dahlonega.”
