04-01-10 Dawgs N Jackets Recipient of A Main Street Façade Grant

The Main Street McDonough Program held a façade grant reimbursement presentation on Tuesday, March 30th for McDonough business Dawgs N Jackets, 13 Hampton Street, just off the Square. The Façade Grant Improvement Program is a reimbursement grant offered to businesses and commercial property owners located within the Main Street District. Through this program, applicants may be reimbursed up to 50% of the cost of improved renovations not to exceed a maximum amount of $2500 per applicant. Reimbursements are based on availability of funds.

McDonough Mayor Billy Copeland presented the check to Dawgs N Jackets owner Paul Andzeski and congratulated Andzeski on opening his business in this city. The Mayor also expressed hope that Andzeski’s business would continue doing well.

When asked to describe his business, the restaurant owner replied, “We are a five star menu in a one star environment.” Dawgs N Jackets has become known for its delicious hotdogs and hamburgers. However, the menu contains150 items and can offer the hungry patron everything from a hotdog to a steak as well as breakfast.

The restaurant, located next to Harris and Tucker Jewelers, is open Tuesday through Saturday, 8 am-9 pm and Sunday, 10 am-3 pm. Andzeski added, “If you are in a hurry, call ahead, and we’ll have it ready.” For more information call 770-954-3434.
