02-20-12 Main Street McDonough Program's February Ladies’ Night Out Winner

This popular Main Street McDonough Program event has now become a twelve month a year occurrence. Linda Schenk, Main Street Director, reflected that it has been so popular with the ladies and local business owners that it will just keep taking place on the second Thursday night of every month. Great local restaurants and quaint shops eagerly await the arrival of the “Dixie Darlings” as they burst through front doors ready to do some serious eating followed by some major shopping. On February 9th, many area ladies dined and shopped downtown and had a great time.

February’s gift basket was displayed at Pasta Max, and owner Doug Zitz had the distinction of drawing the winning name out of the lucky cauldron. Karen Mayo of McDonough is the winner of the February basket.

“I want to congratulate our February winner and invite all the ladies to come back to the Square for the next Ladies’ Night Out on March 8th,” said Director Schenk. “One of our March shoppers will be our lucky gift basket winner.”
