02-20-12 City Employee Mark Dobson Earns Certification Number 10

City Employee Mark Dobson
Earns Certification Number 10

City of McDonough Building Division officer Mark Dobson was presented the Commercial Mechanical Inspector Certification—awarded by the International Code Council—and described as one of the toughest to acquire.

This makes number 10 to be hung on the wall above Dobson’s desk at McDonough City Hall.  “It was really a hard test, and when I found out I passed, I was extremely happy,” said Dobson.

Community Development Director and Dobson’s boss John Cheek agrees with his assessment of number 10.  “This certification may be the most difficult of all ICC certifications to obtain, so it is a major feather in both his and the city’s caps,” stated Director Cheek.
