Joshua Katona Earns Eagle Scout

Thirteen year old McDonough resident Joshua Katona has earned an honor that, according to facts obtained by Mayor Billy Copeland, only 2% of boys in the Scouting program ever attain, that of Eagle Scout. During the January 15th City Council meeting, Mayor Copeland and Council presented Katona with a Certificate of Recognition for this outstanding accomplishment. Mayor Copeland noted that this is was also a proud day for McDonough. Councilmember Wayne Smith can be seen in the background joining the audience and his fellow Councilmembers in a standing ovation for Eagle Scout Katona.
