Main Street McDonough Program’s
January Ladies’ Night Out Winner

January had been warm, but the evening of January 12th, the date for January’s Ladies Night Out, turned a bit cold and very windy. That only fueled the hardy ladies of McDonough and surrounding towns as they gathered on the Square for their big night out.

This popular Main Street McDonough Program event has now become a twelve month a year occurrence. Linda Schenk, Main Street Director, reflected that it has been so popular with the ladies and local business owners that it will just keep taking place on the second Thursday night of every month. Great local restaurants and quaint shops eagerly await the arrival of the “Dixie Darlings” as they burst through front doors ready to do some serious eating and shopping.

January’s gift basket was displayed at The Seasons Bistro on Griffin Street, and owner Lynn Loggins had the distinction of drawing a name out of the lucky cauldron. Lisa Wall of Stockbridge was the lucky winner of the January basket.

“I want to congratulate our January winner and invite all the ladies to come back to the Square for the next Ladies’ Night Out,” said Director Schenk. “One of our shoppers, once again, will be our lucky gift basket winner.”
